Ok, so we got faster internet. What does that have to do with anything. Well, you see about 2 years ago, all our computer accounts were overtaken, which included our online photo account. I was already woefully behind, like a year behind in printing pictures then. We've got nothing. We don't exist past Christmas 2008. So, faster internet means catching up on uploading and printing off pictures. And after all that uploading, I want to remember some more of that cute little man. But night like last night are just as precious as this roly-poly. He got to walk around in the hustle and bustle, fall asleep in the car as we looked at lights and was able to enjoy some hot cocoa. I love this baby, but I love growing up as a family just as much!
This was our Christmas card picture that first year, Oliver was 3 months old. Yep, he was a chunk, a cute, dimply chunk.
We were in Vermont then and although the drive to the Carolinas was long, being with everyone was really special. Oliver had already met his grandparents, but he still needed to meet Aunts and Uncles and his cousins Henry, Parker and Sam (cousins Elizabeth and Kathryn would be born just a short month or so later) and he also got to meet Great-Grandma Carter and Great Big Mack and Great Pawpaw! And I know that he has no real, tangible memory of all that, but I love having pictures to show him of all the love that was waiting for him on that trip!
And that is us after driving 20 hours back to VT, we had made it!
