Oliver was working on city planning earlier today,
and he was busy making packages for his Aunt Lis, and thank you cards for cousins Kathryn and Elizabeth,
I, apparently, needed a building to go to work in,
and the museum called and wanted some artwork done in the "toy bulldozer and steam roller" style,
and then Mama James needed to take a rest.
This really isn't about me planning great craft ideas or really engaging in play with Oliver (because nobody is perfect at that); I'm just so thankful for our very full, very full home. All this mess is one big beautiful gift. I hope this spring-like, bubbly thanks still streams out even on the cold, gray days.
